We are a lay Buddhist Church located in beautiful Federal Way, Washington. Our church overlooking Puget Sound, with a magnificent view of the Olympic mountains as a backdrop.
Our goal is to lead our lives using the principles provided in the Buddha's teaching as written in "The Threefold Lotus Sutra." We teach each other how to obtain peace in our lives by following the teachings of Buddha as a guideline and how we as humans beings can live an empowered and creative life. This includes solving the problems in our daily lives.
All are welcome. Come and join us to learn how to change your life to one of a more peaceful existence. Learn where inner peace comes from.
We have two chapels and our services are in English and Japanese. Japanese service is held upstairs at 10:00a. English services are on the weekends only at 9a downstairs.
We are closed Tuesday through Thursday except for class on Wednesday evenings.
English classes in Lotus Sutra studies are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00p, (student class blog ).
We also have subject matter specific Buddhism classes, in English, following the Sunday service.
Meditation classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00p.
